Mascot Studio

Mascot Studio was founded in the East Village by owner and artist Peter McCaffrey in 1982. Mascot Studio was originally a painting space, and is now well established at its present store front location at 328 East Ninth St. for the past 26 years. We proudly continue to offer personal service to the custom framing client in an eclectic and creative environment on the fashionable block of East 9th St. in the East Village.

Mascot is known for its eye catching window displays which invite the passerby to enter the store's charming ambience. The Studio sells an unusual selection of custom mouldings, vintage frames and mirrors, prints and photography. Original drawings and paintings by the owner and other local artists are thematic of nature and the animal world.

Mascot Studio has remained unique and true to its vision as an artist-run business. In the current environment of New York, where one business has become indistinguishable from another, the shop endures as a venue with a personal sensibility.
